Celebration of 10 years of streamcare on Harts Creek and tributaries
Tuesday June 19th, 10am – 1pm
Meet at Leeston Community Room (Leeston Library), 19 Messines St, Leeston
Join us on a short field trip to find out more about improving our streams and drains. See what’s been achieved and hear from the people who have been involved in stream and drain restoration, undertaking riparian planting on their properties.
Information will be available on sustainable management of waterways, where to get advice and funding, and what the new Environment Canterbury stock exclusion rules mean for landowners.
A light lunch will be provided at the Community Room after the bus trip. The event is free, but places are limited so registration is essential.
