Your chance to get out and make a difference! There are some planting events coming up and we’re looking for volunteers.
On Friday September 7th the 2012 Green Footprint planting is happening at Coes Ford Reserve. Green Footprint is a partnership between Selwyn District Council, the YHA and WET and planting has taken place every year since 2005 at either Coes or Chamberlains Ford. On two Saturdays – September 8th (lower catchment) and September 22nd (upper catchment) – this year’s Canterbury Plantout is happening! A chance to see new places and meet new people, all meals, transport and activities are provided. This event led by Te Ara Kakariki with support from WET, SDC, Ngai Tahu, ECan and others.
