Waihora Ellesmere Trust is committed to raising awareness of the lake and associated values, and to promoting and supporting best management practice for land based activities which impact on water quality and the lake.
To do this the Trust produces a range of resources. Our publications include State of the Lake reports, information brochures, and a map showing how to access the various recreational activity areas around the lake. WET has produced a series of short videos relating to riparian restoration. We also send out newsletters 3 – 4 times each year with updates on the Trust’s activities and information related to the lake and catchment.
