The fourth Living Lake Symposium was held at Lincoln University on November 7 & 8, with over 170 people from a wide range of backgrounds in attendance. For details, visit our event page – Living Lake Symposium 2013.
Day 1 – measure to manage – focused on a series of presentations from a range of experts, outlining what monitoring is underway, and updating us on the state of the lake, the pressures and responses.
Day 2 – managing what we measure – began with a great presentation from our visiting speaker from Bay of Plenty, Andy Bruere, and then speakers presented an overview of actions underway around the catchment and the research programmes which are focusing on the lake/catchment.
The full programme and the slides from presenters are on our event page.
