WET and the Whakaora Te Waihora team are hosting a bus trip and workshop around the Halswell River catchment on the evening of Tuesday December 4th, 6.30 – 8.30pm. More details are here.

This will be a great chance to
- find out how and why the catchment is being managed
- visit some of the exciting restoration projects which have been undertaken to improve drainage, water quality and biodiversity
- find out more about the practical steps needed for a successful restoration project
- find out what is being planned as part of the Whakaora Te Waihora programme, and
- hear about what funding support advice is likely to be available for landowners.
