The Waihora Ellesmere Trust is holding their 2019 Annual General Meeting on the 16th of September 2019.
The AGM will be held a the Lincoln Events Centre, Meijer Drive, Lincoln
Formalities will start at 6.30 pm and refreshments at approx. 7.00 pm. Our quest speaker will follow at 7.30 pm.
The Waihora Ellesmere Trust is pleased to have Allanah Purdie as their guest speaker. Allanah is a biodiversity ranger for the Department of Conservation. She will be talking about the conservation work being done around Te Waihora to protect the critically endangered bittern. Including monitoring of the breeding population, predator control, and tracking of individuals that have been caught and have had transmitters attached.
