Environment Canterbury have announced that the Environment Enhancement Fund is now open for applications.

The fund will cover up to 50% of costs for restoration projects, although it could be higher for projects that protect high value biodiversity areas.

There have been some very significant changes to the fund, including increasing the amount available for a project to $20,000 from $5,000.  Labour costs can now be included and applications will be accepted all year round.
