Environment Canterbury has publicly notified their proposed Land and Water Regional Plan (LWRP) and is receiving submissions until 5pm on October 5th. The LWRP is a new planning framework for Canterbury, replacing most of the Natural Resources Regional Plan.

At the same time a Proposed Flood Control and Drainage Bylaw was publicly notified – the details are available here. Submissions on the new bylaw will be received until September 11th.
