WET is a partner in the Kids Discovery Plantout project (KDP) – working with local primary schools to increase the biodiversity on the plains and encourage hand-on involvement in restoration and increased understanding of the benefits.

Te Ara Kakariki is leading the project, with help from Enviroschools, Lincoln University, WET and others. We recently spent a great day out with Springston School at Chamberlains Ford. RadioNZ came along – you can listen to their piece about the project here.
