A summary of the key findings and conclusions from the second Living lake Symposium, held in late 2009, is now available to be downloaded. A number of potential scenarios for lake level management were presented and helped to focus debate around key issues.

Riparian Restoration Programme research

Lincoln University Centre for Land, Environment and People is involved in a project to determine the effectiveness of the Waihora Ellesmere Catchment Riparian Restoration Programme.  It is intended that this will continue until at least 2014 and further details can be found on the LEaP website.
